| ROSSELLA SANTAGATA,
Ph.D. Research Scientist at LLRI and Assistant Professor at UC Irvine, she received her Ph.D. from the UCLA Department of Psychology, where she is now Adjunct Professor. She joined LessonLab in 1999 to work as research assistant on the TIMSS Video Study. Before coming to the U.S., she worked as a clinical psychologist in Italy with children with language delay and learning disabilities. Her UCLA doctoral work focused on the analysis of Italian mathematics teaching practices and mistake-management strategies in Italian and U.S. classrooms. She is currently Co-PI on two LLRI projects: Algebra Learning for All (ALFA) and Videocases for Science Teaching Analysis (ViSTA). |
