BILL SAUNDERS,
Ph.D.
William Saunders, Ph.D., is currently
- Vice President and General Manager, Learning Teams and School Improvement Programs of Achievement Solutions at Pearson;
- Senior Research Scientist, LessonLab Research Institute;
- Senior Research Fellow, California State University, Long Beach; and
- Assistant Research Psychologist, UCLA.
Saunders directs Achievement Solution’s school-based programs for
improving instruction and learning; and co-principal investigator on a
study of literacy development among Spanish speaking children in Texas
and California. Formerly a high school teacher and Director of
USC’s Writing Project, for 20 years he has conducted school
improvement and professional development programs in the Southern
California region. He is the author of numerous papers and chapters on
the quasi-experimental studies of LessonLab’s school and
instructional improvement program.
